Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. F. Eskandari joined our team in February 2016. Dr. F. Eskandari originally graduated from University of Shaheed Beheshti Medical School in Iran and became a licensed practitioner when she was 23 years old.
She is working as an emergency room physician since 2009 in U.S. She worked as Emergency Room physician and internist at hospitals as well as her own private practice before relocating to the United States.
In 2009, she completed her residency and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Department of Family and Community Medicine at University of Texas-Houston. Dr. F. Eskandari focused on skin care procedures, establishing a new passion for Cosmetic Medicine and women’s health since 2006. She has earned several certificates in these fields from American Academy Of Aesthetic Medicine.
She has completed her level one Board of Cosmetic Medicine in 2007, which allowed her to practice Facial Laser Rejuvenation, Botox, Fillers, and Chemical Peels.
She has earned her certifications in plasma rich platelet procedures (PRP) and has become a pioneer in this new and promising field of Cosmetic Medicine.
Dr. F. Eskandari holds current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Pediatric Life Support, Basic Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advance Obstetric Life Support, and the treatment and diagnosis of Lyme & Tick borne diseases. She is also a current member of the American Medical Association, American College of Family Practice and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
Her research work has been presented at the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstruction Surgery (ASORPS).
Dr. F. Eskandari provides patient education for the Horizons Project, an obesity awareness project at the University of Texas Professional Building in Houston. Dr. F. Eskandari’s focus on interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills promotes positive physician-patient relationships and improves patient outcomes and satisfaction. Her passion for women’s health and patient education, desire to improve the lives of others, and commitment to giving back to her communities on a volunteer basis make her an excellent addition to the Nova Team. Dr. F. Eskandari is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and will be providing Botox and Cosmetic procedures to Nova Plastic Surgery patients. Dr. F. Eskandari believes in the importance of open communication with patients and takes pride in spending adequate time with each patient to ensure their questions are answered and they fully understand the procedure being performed.
